Please Join us at this very powerful time of the year. We will celebrate the change of the season, learning from nature how to “Let Go” like the leaves do in the fall.
Join us in Garden Cove, 2-hour drive west of St. John’s and east of Gander. From Garden Cove, we get aboard of the Merasheen for the 40-minute sail to Woody Island. This rugged, quaint, beautiful Island resettled in the early 1970’s has preserved much of its original heritage. Woody Island offers a step-back-in-time, a magical retreat location like no other. You will feast on home-cooked meals of pan-fried fresh cod, pea soup, toutons & Molasses, and fresh homemade bread, to name a few.
Your fee covers boat travel to and from the island, two nights’ accommodations, meals, workshops, and evening programs. Individually these services would cost over $800.00. Your cost is 555.00 (taxes included). Some Financial assistance is available for those on a limited income (single parents and students). Some single rooms are available for an additional $75.00.
There is a limited number of spaces and will fill on a first come basis. You can pay $100.00 now to hold your space and pay the remainder before September 7, 2024.
Register for any two retreats in 2024 and take 50.00 off the cost of the second retreat.

Workshops
How to Find Happiness (Brenda).
To find happiness we don’t need to find something/someone, we must drop something. This workshop takes us from effort to inner work. It examines our programming and takes us to the realization that we are not problems to be solved and moves us toward awareness and happiness.
Ritual and Ceremony (Regina).
For over twenty-five years ceremony and ritual have been a central part of Regina’s life and work. They are a powerful way to bring us into a deeper relationship with all that is and reconnect with self. In this workshop you will learn what ceremony/ritual and sacred practice are and why they are important in the modern world. You will learn how to bring ceremony and ritual into your everyday life. During this time of Fall Equinox, you will participate in a special ceremony to give thanks for the harvest and prepare to enter the darkest six months of the year. As you step back in time on Woody Island you will also connect to the spirit of the land and with your ancestors.
The Wisdom of the Enneagram (Lucy).
There are nine distinct personality types, nine different perspectives on life and nine ways of being in the world. We all have pieces of the whole nine but are dominant in a few. These are the patterns that shape our lives, explaining why we do the things we do, why we think the way we think. What number(s) are you? Join me in this workshop and learn more about why you do the things you do. Understanding our patterns can change our lives.
How Our Beliefs Can Derail Our Growth (Brenda).
Sometimes we are not aware of our limiting beliefs that create a state of mind or belief about yourself that restricts us in some way. Everyone experiences limiting beliefs. Learning how to identify them can help us proactively prevent these beliefs from limiting ourselves. This workshop provides us with the time to wonder where they came from, how they are influencing our view of our worlds and the power we have to change them. This workshop is about taking back our power, and moving in a direction that serves us well.
Heal Your Life (Regina).
This workshop will introduce you to the timeless work of Louise Hay. You will participate in exercises based on her philosophy that you can incorporate into your daily life to make positive changes. In our current global climate of chaos and fear, her work is needed more than ever. This will also be a celebration of the fifteenth anniversary of Regina being a facilitator at Lucy’s retreats and the first workshop she offered.
Combo Workshop / Intro to Nia and Intro to Ageless Grace (Elaine).
During the Nia portion of the workshop, we will explore the 52 movements of the Nia Technique with a focus on finding Dynamic Ease in our bodies – the ability to perform a movement with maximum efficiency and minimal effort. Reaching dynamic ease in our bodies allows a sense of neuromuscular creativity that allows us to do variations of movements without even thinking these movements are done with the focus on improving / maintaining flexibility, agility, mobility, strength, stability and stillness.
During the Intro to Ageless Grace portion of the workshop, we will explore the 21 movements of this practice. Each of these movements stimulates the five main functions of the brain – strategic planning, memory and recall, analytical thinking, creativity and imagination and kinesthetic learning. These movements will be done seated in a chair and are guaranteed to bring a little joy and laughter from exploring these everyday movements that are natural and organic and focus on the healthy longevity of the body and mind.
Community Gathering (Lucy).
We gather as a community to share stories, anchor our time together and give thanks for the many Blessings in our lives. It is a time to Celebrate Life.
